Ecologists worldwide celebrate Earth Day

Earth Day happens on 22nd April and amateur and professional Ecologists worldwide are celebrating.

Earth Day began in 1970 as a day to celebrate the planet and encourage people to be more environmentally friendly. Now, more than 1 billion people participate in Earth Day activities each year.

Earthday.org this year, are launching an ambitious goal.  To achieve global climate and environmental literacy by 2020.

Here at Contract Ecology we undertake services to bolster the greening of cities. You can contract us to manage natural spaces. To help create a greener, more sustainable future.  We build biodiversity.

We recognize how very lucky we are to work on conservation and restoration projects all year round. So we say let’s make everyday earth day.  You can do your bit too.  Planting trees, recycling, volunteering for green projects, and reducing the amount of energy you use can make a difference.

How about planting some wildflowers?  If you would like some free wildflower seeds please get in touch using our contact us page here: https://contractecology.co.uk/contact-us/ (limited time/stocks. Open to UK resident’s only, sorry)
