Temporary

UV MEMBRANE

UV 3 Year GuaranteeSuitable for newts, natterjack toads, common lizards, slow worms and snakes. The original ‘flexible’ exclusion fence material. Popular, inexpensive and highly effective for temporary exclusions, regarded as the industry standard in temporary amphibian and reptile exclusion fence design. Our membrane is specially treated to withstand UV decomposition and is UV guaranteed for 3 years.

GEO TEXTILE

UV 5 Year GuaranteeSuitable for newts, natterjack toads, slow worms and snakes. A popular budget choice with excellent weather resistance. UV guaranteed for 5 years. Woven design minimises wind abrasion and allows for water permeability thus minimising ‘ponding’ in wet soil conditions. Recommended at sites prone to increased traffic pressure.

Semi-permanent

SEMI SOLID SHEET

UV 5 Year GuaranteeSuitable for newts, natterjack toads, common lizard, slow worms and snakes. An economical and robust lightweight fence material suitable for all forms of amphibian and reptile exclusion including larger snakes with various heights available. When installed without an under baffle this fence can be used to tie in closely with existing site boundary fences. Made from fluted 3mm thick, UV treated post consumer polypropylene, this product is also recyclable. UV guaranteed for 5 years.

Permanent

SOLID SHEET

UV 10 Year GuaranteeSuitable for newts, natterjack toads, common lizard, slow worms, snakes and water voles. A highly durable fence material made from 4mm thick post consumer HDPE which is also fully recyclable. Excellent choice for sites requiring maintenance free long term animal exclusion. Increasingly popular on sites prone to high traffic pressure and vandalism due to its robust properties. Specially treated against long term UV decomposition and UV guaranteed for 10 years.

GALVANISED STEEL

UV 10 Year GuaranteeSuitable for newts, natterjack toads, common lizard, slow worms and snakes. An aesthetically pleasing and durable fence material, designed to aid long term animal exclusion. Supplied galvanised or powder coated allowing it to be colour matched to existing boundary fences. Bespoke fabrication is also available, allowing the material to be tailored to account for individual site requirements such as one way single piece corner sections.

Water Vole

MARINE PLY.

A traditional material, which has long been used for the exclusion and containment of water voles. A popular choice for long term exclusion projects. 25mm thick marine grade exterior ply, sourced from ethical and sustainable sources. Much of our timber can, on request, be supplied with FSC or PEFC certification.

SOLID SHEET

UV 10 Year GuaranteeSimilar material to our permanent amphibian and reptile fencing, modified during manufacture to offer increased resistance and height making it suitable for water vole exclusion. Made from 6mm post consumer HDPE and fully recyclable. Specially treated against long term UV decomposition and UV guaranteed for 10 years.

Habitat

CEL undertake habitat creation and restoration work which is commonly requested by our clients to compliment our wildlife fence installations including vegetation management, hibernacula construction, bat box installation and pond creation.

Our experienced team includes professionally licensed Ecologists and we will be happy to undertake all small and large scale destructive searches of your site.

Consultancy

CEL wildlife fencing is a trading division of Contract Ecology and Landscapes Ecological Consultants and can offer a full range of wildlife survey, mitigation, research and advisory services to our clients at every step of their project.

Our Consultants are all highly experienced professionals with enthusiasm for every aspect of their work and are licensed in a variety of protected species by Natural England and The Countryside Council for Wales. All are members of The Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and are committed to the Institute's Code of Professional Conduct.

We are please to offer all our services by direct contract or on a sub consultancy basis, ideal for urgent or out of area contracts.
